From November 30, 2024 to December 31, 2025, China allows ordinary passport holders from 38 countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Netherland, Spain, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Australia, New zealand, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, South Korea, bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Japan, to enter China for business, tourism, visiting families and friends, exchange visits, and transit for no more than 30 days without a visa. Citizens who do not meet the visa exemption requirements still need to obtain a Chinese visa before entering the country.
